Sophie Parkes
Psychologist

Sophie Parkes is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University. She is also a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.

Sophie has experience working with a range of presentations including anxiety, study stress (procrastination, perfectionism), ADHD, depression and school refusal. Sophie provides evidence-based treatment, working primarily from cognitive behavioural therapy and narrative therapy models. Sophie also applies elements of acceptance and commitment therapy.

Sophie works with adults as well as with children and their families. Sophie has a particular interest in building rapport with adolescents and fostering trust and collaboration in treating the presenting issue.
