How can we support you?

Youth mental health first aid

This course is for parents and people working with young people aged between 12 and 18. Learn how to assist an adolescent who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. This course also gives you the opportunity to become accredited with Mental Health First Aid Australia (three-year certification).

Cool Kids Anxiety Program

The Cool Kids Anxiety program is a 10-week, evidence-based skills program that teaches children, adolescents, and their parents ways to manage anxiety. Designed for ages seven to 17.

Parenting for challenging teenagers

Led by senior registered psychologists, this course is offered both in person and online to help you understand challenging teenage behaviour. Using positive discipline techniques, parents are provided with the support and resources to discover the most effective parenting strategies.

The Resilient Adolescent Program

Approximately one in five teenagers will develop depression during the course of their teenage years. This program aims to increase the psychological resilience or resourcefulness of young people and draws on successful treatments for adolescent depression and the known psychosocial risk and protective factors at the individual, family and school level.

Creative arts therapy

This creative arts program aims to help students examine and process emotions, improve self awareness and reduce anxiety.

Parent Hope Project

These coaching sessions are based on a wealth of family systems research and are designed to help you be the best resource for your children’s mental health and wellbeing. Learn to focus on what is within your control, hold boundaries and parent with principles, to develop your confidence in your parenting abilities.

PEERS Social Skills Program

Leading evidence-based social skills intervention program for teenagers and young adults with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges to help improve social skills.
