Sek Beckett
Clinical psychologist

Sek Beckett is a clinical psychologist. She has more than 15 years’ experience, with a focus on youth mental health.

She lectures for the Postgraduate Social Health and Applied Psychology Courses at Macquarie University and the Unit for Dispute Resolution, Faculty of Law, University of Technology Sydney. She is also part of the Dulwich Centre Teaching Faculty in Adelaide.

In addition, she co-edits (clinical practice section) Explorations: Journal of Narrative Practice and her clinical work has received media, parliamentary and international recognition.

Sek considers the therapeutic process a privilege, and is committed to researching the potential of young people and their families when navigating the grips of a problem.

Sek’s bookings are currently closed to new clients until further notice. She sees existing clients on Mondays and Thursdays in person or via telehealth, or on Wednesdays via telehealth only.
