Scott Bannerman
Registered psychologist

B.Psych (Honours), M.Psych (Educational and Development)

Scott Bannerman has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Macquarie University and a Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) from University of Western Sydney.

Scott has worked with children and adolescents and their families for over 10 years in a variety of settings including education, disability and mental health. Most recently, he worked at a school for adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds at risk of exclusion from mainstream schooling due to emotional and behavioural problems. Scott’s work in this context deepened his interest in treating problems arising from disordered attachment and traumatic life experiences.

He has developed a passion to understand and validate the life experiences underlying the problems that children, adolescents and their families bring to him, while working to find new and functional ways of meeting life’s challenges.

Scott has extensive experience in using psychometric measures for diagnosis and treatment planning of learning problems, ADHD/ADD, and other neurological conditions.

Scott practices from Lindfield on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays (and one Saturday a month).
