Simon Wegman is a psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and older adults. He is passionate about helping people to overcome their challenges and work towards their own goals.
Simon Wegman has worked with individuals and families, and with a range of presentations including anxiety, phobias, depression, stress, sleep problems, grief and loss, anger issues, ADHD, oppositional behaviour, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem and obsessive compulsive disorder.
He enjoys supporting people with diverse gender identities, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds.
Simon primarily works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspective, while incorporating aspects of other modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy, in order to tailor treatment to the client’s individual needs.
Simon’s qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University.
