Sek Beckett is a Registered Psychologist. Her clinical experience spans over 15 years, with a specialised focus in youth mental health. Currently she is invited to lecture for the Postgraduate Social Health and Applied Psychology Courses at Macquarie University; Unit for Dispute Resolution, Faculty of Law, University of Technology Sydney; and is part of the Dulwich Centre Teaching Faculty in Adelaide.
In addition, she co-edits (clinical practice section) the Explorations: Journal of Narrative Practice and her clinical work has received media, parliamentary and international recognition. Sek considers the therapeutic process a privilege, and is committed to researching the potential of young people and their families when navigating the grips of a problem.
